I just saw that Neal Fletcher released a new free font called Dalle and decided to download it and play around with it for awhile. I created these 3 different designs to showcase a little bit of what this typeface is about. I'm a sucker for slab serif fonts and especially ones that are a bit out of the ordinary, ie. condensed & tall.
From Neal's description of Dalle: “A narrow slab serif typeface, consisting of Caps, Small Caps, Numerals and Punctuation. With every character fitting inside a rectangular frame, the spaces between each letter are very definite
and consistent.”
I'm really digging it and I think you might dig it too. So why not go download it while you can over at Neal Fletcher's site.
